Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains the Hendersonville Country Club is one of the best private clubs, not only in the mountains of Western North Carolina, but also throughout the entire Southeast.

Whether you are playing the beautiful golf course designed by the legendary architect Donald Ross, exercising in the Fitness Center, participating in the tennis programs, attending a poolside cookout or enjoying a fantastic meal with new friends at the Clubhouse, you will notice that Hendersonville Country Club is an active club. The private, Member-owned Club, originating in 1933, is one of the most financially secure clubs in the country and is an astonishing dues value!

With over 1,100 Members actively participating, there is never a dull moment at HCC! The year-round Social Calendar is full of fun and exciting events and there are many opportunities to meet new friends. The Club features two restaurants and gathering spaces, each offering distinctly different styles of cuisine with Members describing them both as the best dining options in town.

Guest Information

  1. All guests, local or otherwards, are required to be invited by and accompanied by a Member of Hendersonville Country Club.
  2. A local guest is defined as someone who resides in the counties of Henderson, Buncombe, Transylvania, Rutherford, and Polk.
  3. A local guest may play golf at HCC a maximum of 1 time per month. A Guest Fee is charged.
  4. A local guest may visit the pool 1 time per month. A Guest Fee is charged.
  5. Local guests may play tennis on HCC based USTA teams. Guests may play tennis a maximum of two times per month. A Guest Fee is charged.
  6. Local guests are limited in the Club dining rooms to 2 times per month.
Cellphones should be in silent mode in all Clubhouses. Members or guests using cell phones should move to a private location so that other Members in the area cannot hear the conversation.
Smoking regular cigarettes or vaping E-cigs is not permitted in any of the Clubhouses. Smoking is not permitted in the Pool area.

Main Clubhouse

Dress Code for Members and Guests over 14 years old at the Clubhouse: Please be considerate of other Members. Athletic or exercise pants, shorts or shirts are not appropriate. Shirts for men must have sleeves and collars and be neat. Bermuda length shorts are appropriate. Mock turtle necks are appropriate but t-shirts are not permitted. Men shall not wear hats in the Clubhouse.


Grill Room

Proper attire required. No tank tops, short shorts, cutoffs or bathing attire. 


Golf Course

Golf Course and practice area dress code: Men and male juniors: Golf shirts must have collars, no t-shirts or tank tops. Turtlenecks or mock turtlenecks are appropriate; shorts must be Bermuda type. Ladies: Shirts must have collars and/or sleeves. Blue jeans are not allowed for men, women or juniors over 10 years old.
